The Recycling Center operates Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 pm and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, except for city holidays. Saturday and Sunday hours are 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, except on holidays.
Garbage Services
Services are contracted with Waste Management Services. Applehead garbage is picked up on Tuesday. Approved garbage bin receptacles should be placed at the street right-of-way for pickup no later than 7:00 AM and not to exceed eighteen (18) hours prior to pick up. Such containers shall be removed from the street right-of-way from the street right-of-way within six (6) hours after they have been emptied. Large items or additional pickups may be arranged by calling 830-598-8741. No garbage should be left outside of the container.
