HSB Architectural Committee

The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) plays a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic and structural standards within the Horseshoe Bay community, separate from the POA and its Board. Here’s a summary of key points and resources:
  • ACC's Role: The ACC is responsible for ensuring high standards of architecture and construction, aiming to enhance the visual appeal and structural integrity of the neighborhoods.
  • POA and Board: Neither the POA nor the POA Board has review or approval authority over architectural matters; this falls solely under the ACC’s jurisdiction.

Prior approval of the Architectural Committee is required  before (a) any natural soil or vegetation is disturbed by the owner of any lot or land, and (b) construction or any improvement begins including primary building or structure additions or remodeling, swimming pools, irrigation systems, fences, retaining walls, etc. Following Committee approval, building permits are obtained at the City of Horseshoe Bay office.
